Introducing – Where I Write!
It’s a sweet little room just off the kitchen and hall bath with all of the colors of a Crayola box. Against charcoal-colored walls are my kids’ and friends’ paintings, art posters, prayer flags, and letters from my children. There’s a blood-red faux oriental rug across the hickory floors and a family post-race photo, aptly titled: The Color Run.
Lots of deer stop by my window to check out me in my natural habitat. We blink for a while at one another as they chomp on the grass and my neighbor’s garden until it gets old.
Throughout the day, I travel from my desk, to the couch, to the floor in various positions and always with a blanket across my lap regardless of the weather. It’s very very quiet. And I like it.
